Rules and Regulations

A. General Rules


1.      Members of the club must be enrolled in Swinburne University of Technology (Sarawak Campus).

2.      Members are not allowed to perform any activities and actions under club’s name without the permission from the officers.

3.      The officers have the right to terminate the membership of any member who violates rules and regulations stated in this document.

B. Safety & Housekeeping


1.      All members involved in any activities must observe the safety rules and regulations at the premise where the activities take place and consult the person-in-charge for any confusion.

2.      Any action that might causes safety hazard is a severe violation and might result in membership termination.

3.      Members are not allowed to operate any form of machineries or equipments without proper training.

4.      The club and the university are not responsible for any accident caused by personal negligence.

5.      Members should not perform any action that might harm themselves and other members.

6.      Members must make sure the workspace is cleaned and tidied up before leaving the lab or workshop.

C. Miscellaneous


1.      Members are not allowed to remove any property of the university and the club without permission from advisors.

2.      Members have to take good care of any property to ensure smoothness of projects and activities. Shall any damage occurs, the particular member(s) have to replace the property at their own expenses.

3.      During club activities, members are not allowed to perform any action that might disturb the activities.

4.      Members are not allowed to bring any non-member in the club activities without the permission of the person-in-charge.

5.      Members must practice good conducts when representing the university or the club in any activity.


Agreement

By clicking on the following link to register as a new SSRAC member, you have read and agree to abide by the SSRAC Rules and Regulations, stand by the decisions of the SSRAC advisors and executive committee, and are committed towards a future filled with machines, with or without Terminators, Robocop and the Matrix.

Update: Our esteemed Treasurer would also kindly inform you that we will require RM5 membership fee per semester to cover acquisition of miscellaneous items such as club banners, advertisements, sponsorship of competitions and etc. Thank you :-)
