In year 2011, Robotics and Automation club organized two exhibition activities
to represent School of Engineering, Computing and Science in promoting the
Robotics & Mechatronics course to the public.
The first event was in 12 February 2011, Swinburne was invited by
MOHE to participate in Karnival Mesra Belia Negeri Sarawak 2011
which took place in Lundu Sports Complex. The event is for MOHE to promote educational
opportunities for youth. For this event, Robotics
and Automation club demonstrated the LEGO robotics project and also displayed
some video of student projects.
The second event was in 23 July 2011, SUTS was holding the regular
event “Open Day” to give the opportunity for school leavers to experience and
find out more about the courses offered in SUTS. In this event, the club is
responsible to showcase and explain to the public about the projects displayed.
